1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SonicSyncSail, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you cannot legally agree to these Terms, do not use the app. Your use of SonicSyncSail is also subject to applicable laws and the terms of third-party services you choose to use.
2. SonicSyncSail Service
SonicSyncSail is an offline-first Android music and video player. It provides local media playback and organization, media editing, PulseSync, Dhvanic, optional internet radio, optional Google Play subscription features, optional rewarded-ad access, album-art web search, and user-directed Android sharing. Availability can depend on your device, Android version, connectivity, region, and third-party services.
3. Local Media
You retain ownership of your local music and video. SonicSyncSail does not acquire ownership merely because you play, organize, edit, or share media through the app. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use, modify, and share that media and must not use SonicSyncSail to infringe copyright or other rights.
4. SonicSync Pro
SonicSync Pro is an optional paid Google Play subscription for product
sonicsync_pro. Current Pro benefits include Dhvanic, unlimited PulseSync
while the Pro entitlement is active, and suppression of SonicSyncSail-controlled visual
advertisements. Pro does not remove advertisements embedded directly in third-party
radio streams.
Pro features may reasonably evolve as SonicSyncSail improves. Changes that materially affect paid services will be handled consistently with applicable consumer law and Google Play requirements.
5. Monthly and Annual Plans
The current regular base plans are monthly and annual. Google Play supplies the localized price, currency, applicable billing period, and checkout information, which may vary by country. The information shown by Google Play at checkout governs your purchase.
The current SonicSyncSail client is intended to purchase the standard paid monthly or annual recurring plan rather than a free-trial, introductory, installment, or zero-price promotional offer. A different Google Play surface or an older app version may present different information.
6. Google Play Billing
Google Play processes SonicSync Pro payments. SonicSyncSail does not directly collect your complete payment-card information. Subscription entitlement is verified through the SonicSyncSail backend. A pending purchase does not unlock Pro.
Pro may not be granted when a purchase is pending, invalid, stale, unrelated, revoked, refunded, expired, or otherwise ineligible under Google Play and server verification.
7. Automatic Renewal
SonicSync Pro is an auto-renewing Google Play subscription unless Google Play explicitly presents otherwise. Monthly plans renew according to the applicable monthly billing period, and annual plans renew according to the applicable annual billing period. Renewal continues until cancelled through Google Play procedures. Google Play shows the applicable renewal price and terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
8. Managing and Cancelling SonicSync Pro
You can manage or cancel SonicSync Pro through Google Play. The SonicSync Pro screen in the app provides a Manage Subscription action that opens the relevant Google Play subscription-management surface. SonicSyncSail does not directly cancel the subscription itself, and uninstalling the app does not cancel it.
Cancellation generally stops future renewal. Access may continue through an already-paid period while Google Play still reports an active entitlement, although refunds, revocations, Google Play rules, and applicable law may affect the outcome.
9. Refunds
Cancelling SonicSync Pro does not automatically produce a refund. Refund eligibility depends on Google Play policies, applicable consumer law, the circumstances of the transaction, and any developer refund handling that may apply. No automatic refund is promised by these Terms.
10. Grace Period, Account Hold and Recovery
Google Play may place an eligible subscription into a grace period. Pro access may continue during that period while the entitlement remains valid, but a grace period is not guaranteed and depends on Google Play configuration and availability.
Pro access may be suspended when Google Play reports account hold or another ineligible payment state. If Google Play later reports the subscription as active again, SonicSyncSail can restore Pro after successful verification. Restoration timing may depend on connectivity and service availability.
11. Expiration, Revocation, Refunds and Chargebacks
Pro access can end when the paid entitlement expires, Google Play reports an ineligible state, or verification no longer finds an active entitlement. Access may also be withdrawn or changed if Google Play reports a purchase as refunded, revoked, voided, charged back, or otherwise invalid. A pending refund review may be processed separately and does not by itself mean that Pro access will be removed; entitlement continues to depend on the authoritative Google Play subscription state.
12. Restore Purchases
The app provides a Restore purchases action. It asks Google Play for an eligible SonicSync Pro purchase, verifies that purchase through the backend, and restores entitlement when verification succeeds. Restoration is not guaranteed if Google Play cannot return an eligible purchase, a different Google account is in use, verification fails, or the purchase is no longer eligible.
13. Reinstallation and Anonymous Installation Ownership
SonicSyncSail currently has no traditional visible login or account. Backend entitlement uses a pseudonymous Firebase anonymous installation identity. Reinstalling the app can create a new identity. An active Google Play subscription can then be reverified and its server-side association transferred to the new identity, superseding a previous association.
SonicSyncSail currently follows a one-active-server-owner model for anonymous subscription ownership. Simultaneous paid Pro access across multiple installations is not guaranteed, and restoring or verifying on another installation may re-associate the entitlement.
14. Offline Entitlement
For reliability during temporary connectivity loss, the app may temporarily rely on recently verified cached entitlement state. Paid access may remain available until the later of the cached Google Play subscription expiry or a limited verification grace period of up to 72 hours after the last successful verification.
Local state can temporarily differ from current Google Play or server state. Google Play and server verification become authoritative when connectivity returns. This limited offline tolerance does not guarantee access after an invalid or ineligible purchase.
15. ProReward Pass
ProReward Pass is temporary feature access earned through eligible rewarded advertisements. It is not a paid subscription, money, virtual currency, cash, a withdrawable balance, or transferable property.
One successfully server-verified rewarded ad currently grants 15 minutes of ProReward access. Unused verified time stacks up to a maximum of two hours from the current server time. Current benefits include Dhvanic, unlimited PulseSync during active reward access, and suppression of SonicSyncSail-controlled visual ads. ProReward does not remove audio advertisements embedded in third-party radio streams.
16. ProReward Limitations
Rewarded ads are not guaranteed to be available. A reward can fail if no eligible ad is available, an ad is not completed, server or ad-unit verification fails, a claim expires, a transaction is duplicated or invalid, network or backend service is unavailable, or fraudulent or abusive activity is detected.
ProReward is associated with the anonymous installation identity. ProReward access may be lost after reinstalling the app, clearing relevant app identity state, or otherwise receiving a new anonymous installation identity. Rewarded time cannot be transferred to another person or installation.
17. PulseSync Free Access
The free version may provide a limited amount of PulseSync playback before Pro or ProReward access is required. The current allowance is 10 minutes per qualifying persisted Pulse session. After the limit is reached, playback may pause while queue and position information remains available. Free-use limits may evolve.
18. Advertising
The free experience can contain advertising, including visual, interstitial, app-open, and optional rewarded formats. Advertising depends on availability, region, and Google's systems and is not guaranteed. Rewarded ads are optional and are used to earn ProReward. Paid Pro and active ProReward suppress SonicSyncSail-controlled visual ads, but cannot suppress advertising embedded in third-party radio audio.
19. Internet Radio
SonicSyncSail includes a locally bundled radio catalogue, while actual radio streams are supplied by external station and stream providers. Remote artwork or favicons may also come from external hosts. SonicSyncSail does not operate those stations and cannot guarantee station availability, stream uptime, content, audio quality, embedded advertising, geographic access, licensing, or continued availability.
20. Tag Editing, Artwork and Ringtones
SonicSyncSail can modify metadata and artwork in media files you select. Keep independent backups before editing important files; SonicSyncSail does not automatically back up edited media.
Optional album-art web search can use Google and other image providers. You are responsible for using third-party images lawfully, and SonicSyncSail does not claim ownership of external search results. The app can also create ringtones in public Android MediaStore storage, where they may remain after the app is uninstalled.
21. User-Directed Sharing
You can share selected audio through Android's standard share system. You choose the recipient application or service. After a file is transferred, the recipient controls its copy. You are responsible for ensuring that your sharing is lawful and respects the rights and privacy of others.
22. Acceptable Use
You must not attempt to:
- Manipulate Google Play purchase data or forge purchase state
- Replay or duplicate entitlement requests
- Manipulate ProReward verification or duplicate rewarded-ad transactions
- Bypass entitlement controls or interfere with App Check or security protections
- Abuse, disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to backend systems
- Use SonicSyncSail unlawfully or to violate intellectual-property rights
SonicSyncSail may reject invalid entitlement or reward requests and may take proportionate action against abuse. Nothing in these Terms authorizes cancellation of a valid paid subscription contrary to applicable consumer law.
23. Service Availability and Feature Changes
SonicSyncSail may improve features, modify its interface, replace technical components, add or remove unsupported integrations, and adjust free-use limits. Third-party services, rewarded ads, internet radio, and compatibility with particular media files may be unavailable or interrupted. Completely error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Where changes materially affect paid services, they will be handled consistently with applicable law and Google Play requirements.
24. Intellectual Property
SonicSyncSail, its software, branding, and original app content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. This license does not transfer ownership of SonicSyncSail, and SonicSyncSail does not claim ownership of your local media.
25. Third-Party Services
SonicSyncSail can interact with Google Play, Firebase, Google advertising services, internet radio providers, artwork and search providers, and destinations selected through Android sharing. Those services are operated under their own terms and policies. SonicSyncSail does not control their availability, content, or independent conduct.
26. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, SonicSyncSail is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. SonicSyncSail does not guarantee uninterrupted third-party radio, continued availability of third-party services or advertising, compatibility with every media file, constant rewarded-ad availability, or completely error-free operation. This section does not limit warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SonicSyncSail is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app, third-party services, or user-directed media actions. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
28. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how SonicSyncSail handles local information, subscriptions, rewards, advertising, Firebase services, online features, and user choices.
29. Data Deletion
SonicSyncSail currently has no visible traditional account. Clearing app data or uninstalling SonicSyncSail does not cancel SonicSync Pro. Deleting app or eligible backend data is not the same as cancelling the Google Play subscription, and cancellation is not the same as deleting backend data.

30. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. This choice of law does not remove or waive mandatory consumer rights, protections, remedies, or jurisdictional rules that apply in your country or region and cannot legally be waived.
31. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in SonicSyncSail, third-party services, legal requirements, or operating practices. The effective date above identifies the latest published version. Material changes will be handled consistently with applicable law and Google Play requirements.
